The Seed Is Planted | An End (2023), a hybrid-media installation

The Seed Is Planted is a conceptual piece taking place at the physical and virtual space simultaneously. Reality & fiction are getting mixed. Interconnected events, one possible scenario out of infinite possible ones 40+ real world physical locations are involved so far. The real world locations are mapped with virtual planted grass experiences, however a tew locations of those ofter also real gardens with grass which are monitored. Monitoring pace & garden type, physical or virtual, was up to the participants & the artist to decide. Individual explorer experience was possible if someone travels to these areas/locations.

The new central art piece is a white greek marble stone (square, 40x40cm - with engraved the project’s QR code on it).

The installation marks the End of the entire art piece via this stone, in a funeral-like setup, as the stone refers to a grave with its history’s engraving on it.

The marble installation and the new experience to be explored by the audience at that moment, which points out to the poetic history of the project. But leaving open the question of what is coming next; what can be created anew? Conceptually, the work expands from one 40x40cm marble pixel to the internet and by building up multiple (non) parallel real & digital AR layers around the world.
