The Enchanting Pool, 2021

The Enchanting Pool (3D Laser levelling device, fans, water) is a media installation which merges the physical and digital worlds into a hybrid in between experience. The 3D Laser levelling machine is floating on water of a square pool, which is being moved constantly by 4 carefully placed fans around the pool. The wind, the water and natural forces create a system where a purely scientific device - normally used by architects and topographers to measure space in construction - creates space at a constant base, never stops, an ongoing unpredictable game, in which visitors can experience it from their own point of view.
